We no longer offer trial lessons, we have Introductory flights available to purchase which make a great gift for friends and family or if you wish youself to have the experience of being in a small aircraft. These can be found on our Fly at Sleap page with the drop down Flight ExperiencesHowever, you do not get to touch the controls during an introductory flight. If someone wishes to have a lesson they would need to sign up as a member to book it (this however is currently not possible as our flying school has closed to new students until Jan 1st 2027)

We are currently not taking anymore flying school students until Jan 1st 2027. If you wish to be added to the waitlist please get in touch with our office either by phone or email. Alternativley you can fill in our contact form with your information.

We have two membership types. Flying member - £180 a year (with a £30 joining fee). It is prorated quarterly through the year and renews very January 1st. This includes access to our members only events, hire of our aircraft & cheaper fuel.Assosiate membership - £55 a year and allows you access to members only events (However this does not allow you airside, you must stay within the fenced garden area at all times)

All vouchers are valid for 6months. Something to note - All 3 person flights are subject to a weight and balance , we can not guarentee to be able to take 3 passengers if the weights exceed the weight and balance of the aircraft and fuel. This can be checked before hand by contacting our office.

Yes we are open to the general public 7 days a week 8:30 - 18:00 (8:30 - 16:30 in the winter months)., free of charge. The only exception for this is if we have a members only event taking place. These can be found on our events page.

Yes, our cafe is currently closed for rerfurbishments and should re open in Novemeber. We will however have temporary catering available for any fly in guests and general public until the cafe can re-open.

Yes, dogs are welcome on the airfield and within the cafe as long as they are well behaved and MUST be on a lead at all times.

No, we as a club do not offer these types of experience flights. However, we do have companys who do and use us as a base a few times throughout the year. We as a club do not have control or access to any bookings so all contact would need to be made through the external company themselves. Yes, we have a fenced garden area at the front of the tower where you can sit and watch aircraft come and go. Our cafe and cafe balcony also face the runway and is a great place for photos. Be Aware: You can not go behind the fenced area at any time as this is the active airside of the airfield. All hangars are privately owned and so can not be entered or toured.
